Notice to Madison County Voters
The 2020 General Election will be conducted BY MAIL. Ballots will be mailed to all ACTIVE registered voters on OCTOBER 9.
NO POLLING PLACES WILL BE OPEN
We recommend you vote your ballot as soon as you receive it. After you vote your ballot by completely filling in the ovals with blue or black ink, place your ballot in the yellow secrecy envelope, then place the yellow envelope in the the blue affirmation/return envelope and sign it. The blue affirmation/return envelope is addressed to the Madison County Election Administrator and the postage is prepaid.
IMPORTANT DETAILS:
- Remember to SIGN the BLUE affirmation/return envelope
- The Post Office & Election Office will be closed Monday, October 12 for Columbus Day
- Do NOT sign the yellow secrecy envelope. Signing the secrecy envelope that could invalidate your ballot
You may return your ballot in person at the Madison County Admin Building in Virginia City. COVID-19 safety measures required including social distancing and masks
