DUI Task Force

DUI Heading

The Madison County DUI Task Force represents a diverse cross section of the community that includes citizens, government officials, law enforcement, business, health professionals, prevention and treatment specialists appointed by the Madison County Commissioners with the mission of reducing alcohol and drug related motor vehicle crashes, injuries, and deaths in Madison County. Efforts will include education regarding the consequences of alcohol and drug use, promotion of healthy choices, and community involvement.

Goals of a DUI Task Force:

     • Prevent driving while under the influence of alcohol (DUI)

     • Reduce alcohol-related traffic crashes

     • Educate the public on the dangers of driving after consuming alcoholic beverages or other chemical substances that impair judgment or motor functions.

Meetings

Task Force Meetings are held every third Thursday of the month, in the County Commissioner's Conference Room, 103 W Wallace St, Virginia City, MT.
